A look back at our recent courses held by The International Professional Scouting Organisation in Cape Town with Cape Town Spurs FC.

We have held successful courses in South Africa over the past 14 months with COSAFA, AmaZulu FC, Cape Town Spurs FC, SAFA eThekwini and JJ Sporting FC.

So it’s now back to advantage Orlando Pirates Football Club after last nights 1-1 draw between Mamelodi Sundowns FC and Kaizer Chiefs.

It’s been one of the most exciting Betway South Africa Premier League title races this season for a long time.

Last night I was at Stellenbosch Football Club v Orlando Pirates Football Club with Pirates continuing to keep the pressure on Mamelodi Sundowns FC at the top of the table with a 2-0 win.

Tonight is the second part of a big week in the race as Sundowns host Kaizer Chiefs.

Who will come out on top tonight? Will Sundowns hold on and claim another title or will Pirates end up taking it?

After every game, win or lose, coaches are expected to give their reflections on a game, amongst all the emotion of the 90 minutes preceding it. After a defeat they will stand in front of the camera and have to answer questions, explaining where the game was lost.

So after your best result of the season, it would be easy for a coach to stand in front of the camera, with millions watching, and take the credit and enjoy the limelight.

What Coach Seema did last night is an excellent example of leadership. Using the interview on national TV to bring in and give credit to his technical team and support staff, the guys who go unnoticed in the background in their pursuit of success.

The best leaders take the criticism when you don't get the result you're aiming for and give the credit when you do.

A brilliant victory on the field and an excellent leadership lesson off if it.

Attended two games in a very wet Cape Town this weekend. A good win for Stellenbosch against Sekhukhune on Friday night and a tightly contested top of the table clash between Cape Town City and Hungry Lions on Saturday.
