Over the past few days, we’ve taken time to pause and reflect following the loss of a fellow runner at this year’s . Our thoughts remain with their loved ones and the running community 💔🕊

Today, we share a few moments captured along the route — a tribute to the spirit, solidarity, and strength that defined the day.

Thank you to every runner, volunteer, supporter, and partner who helped carry the race forward with purpose and compassion.

A tragic incident marked this year’s Slave Route Challenge.

A runner passed away following an unforeseeable accident during the event.

We honour her memory and extend our deepest condolences to her loved ones. Please join us in holding space for this immense loss. 🕊
