There’s something soo beautiful about a marathon finish. 🤩

It’s been 2.5 weeks but we’re still in awe of our marathon winner Siyabulela Mtshalala and close second JJ van der Merwe. 🔥

Also a big thank you once again to our key sponsors:
- Intercare Group
- Table Bay Mall CT
- Eden on the Bay Mall
… without you it wouldn’t have been possible to organise a successful marathon weekend. ❤️💙

No water sachet got lost. 💦💙❤️

We made sure the leftovers from the Intercare Group Blouberg Marathon reach children who really need them.

150 kids of the khulisaabantwana soccer program in Dunoon, who have no water bottles, will benefit from our unused water sachets.

“150 children are going to be hydrated while they are being taught the sense of community, the benefits of health and drinking water, and being safe off the streets.

“Thank you West Coast AC for helping us helping them. You guys rock.” ~ Cindy Britton, Founder of Khalsa Abantwana

💪🏻 CHAMPS LIKE THESE MAKE IT HAPPEN!

A massive thank you to Lionel and his incredible team at Talisman Table View, inside Builders, for coming to the party and supporting the Intercare Blouberg Marathon 2026! ❤️🔵🔴

From sponsoring generators (with a full tank of fuel! ⛽), lights and extension leads, to dropping everything to deliver it all to our clubhouse — and then coming back to collect everything after race weekend — you went above and beyond.

That kind of support, generosity and willingness to jump in when it matters makes a world of difference to our team.

Lionel and the Talisman Table View crew, you are absolute CHAMPS!🏆💪🏻

Thank you for helping us make the magic happen behind the scenes. We appreciate you more than you know!

A BIG THANK YOU to REXONA South Africa 💙❤️

We needed some help for our 7.500 goodie bags and Rexona said, “we won’t let you down”.😅

Despite little time, they made sure every runner would be able to fight the sweat with some nice roll-ons going forward.

We hope this was only the start of bigger and better things to come, we definitely enjoyed having you on board for this year’s Intercare Group Blouberg Marathon, team Rexona.

A special thanks to Gareth Marshall for making it happen. 🙏

❤️🔵 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗢𝗠 𝗢𝗙 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦 — 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨! 🔴⚪

What a weekend. What a race. What an incredible community! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

To every runner who showed up at the start line and gave it their all — thank you for being part of the Intercare Group Blouberg Marathon 2026.

To every volunteer who got up at sparrows, every family member and friend who stood cheering from the sidelines, and every person who worked tirelessly behind the scenes — this event would not have been possible without you.*

From registration to the start line, from our finish-line crew to our marshals, water-table teams, photographers, setup and breakdown crews, and everyone who helped make the magic happen — we see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for you.

It takes hundreds of helping hands, countless hours of planning, and a whole lot of heart to bring an event like this to life. And last weekend, you showed exactly what happens when a community comes together with one shared purpose.

You helped make the Intercare Blouberg Marathon 2026 the resounding success it was. You created the atmosphere, the memories, the smiles, and the moments that make this race so special.
