Ons is geneig om te kla oor klein nitty gritty goed. Hierdie ouers verloor 2 kinders in 1 week, dit is baie hartseer.

A lonely shadow stands within the mist,
A blurred outline against a field of gray.
The fog consumes the edges of the form,
And steals the solid details of the day.

The embrace we shared felt like a common thing,
A casual parting at the kitchen door.
No sudden warning whispered in the wind
That I would feel your steady arms no more.

If I could turn the heavy calendar back,
To grasp the handle of that final hour,
I’d hold you close against my aching chest,
With every ounce of desperate, human power.

I'd catch the fleeting scent of your old coat,
And memorize the pressure of your hand.
Instead, I let you step into the cold,
Before I had the sense to understand.

Now only textures of the fog remain,
To mimic how your presence used to feel.
I reach across the wide, dividing space,
But find that nothing in the dark is real.

The figure fades into the static air,
A memory dissolving in the blue.
I walk away with empty, reaching hands,
Forever wishing that I tighter drew.
