Spearos are taking over! Well done instructor Shane Jansen van Vuuren !

Congratulations Shane Jansen Van Vuuren on achieving your NAUI Freediver INSTRUCTOR certification.

From day one when you joined Derek and I on your first NAUI Freediver course we knew that you were serious about this sport and extremely passionate about exploring every bit of it to make yourself a better diver .

Well you have seriously exceeded all my expectations in so many ways and I have the privilege of congratulating you to becoming a certified NAUI Freediving Instructor. Well done and I have no doubt that many students will benefit in so many ways from your in-depth knowledge and meticulous approach to teaching safe freediving.

Group freedive at Cosy Bay!

It looked bad from above but under the water was calm and peaceful, 10m viz in spots and full of fish.

It was a great chance to practice getting up close to fish and exploring more of the bay. Leaving the gun behind changes the atmosphere entirely, good training this morning!
