Golfers as they age due to lack of mobility and lack of proper exercise selection or exercise in general start to deal with low back issues. If you do not get a handle on this now it’s not a matter of if it’s a matter of when. Prevention is the key my friends. Put in the work so you can keep playing this game for a very long time. Without our health we have nothing. If you’re someone who deals with lower back problems on the daily I feel your pain. I’ve been there. However, for most people this can be dramatically reduced. For the majority of people this comes from a weak core but also lack of mobility in your thoracic spine/hips. First and foremost we need to learn to move better and majority of people have the lack of education to understand what needs to be addressed and where this pain is actually coming from.
