Two measurement methods include:
- Heart rate
- Exertion rating scale
Warning signs:
- Extreme breathlessness
- Breathing problems such as wheezing or coughing
- Chest pain or pressure
- Extreme perspiration
- Dizziness or fainting

Compound exercises are exercises that require the use of multiple muscle groups simultaneously. Common examples are Squats and Deadlifts.
One of the benefits of compound exercises are that they are time efficient. If you only have a limited amount of time to exercise, you’ll work more muscles and build more strength by including these exercises in your workouts.
