Our founder, Arthob Petersen passed away exactly 6 months ago. Here he is, paying tribute to the late Chester Williams. Arthob was Chester's rugby coach at Klein Nederburg Secondary School.

Arthob Petersen founded the Sport in the Hood organization in 2016 since he loved sport and the development of the youth. He was well known for his involvement in South African rugby and his role as Springbok manager. He was always an educator at heart. He hosted many events that he was extremely passionate about.
