Tough conditions, tough competition, and a solid finish!
Team Berkley Vega Graphics took on the South African Bass Angling Association Teams Discipline National Trails at Albert Falls, and we're coming home with our heads held high! We finished 19th overall, with tough fishing conditions at Albert Falls dam - only 7 out of 60 teams managed to get a limit of 10 fish for the 2-day event! We managed a respectable 8 fish, and we're proud of our performance!
Although we slipped to 8th in the National rankings, we're proud to have made the cut for the National squad! A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors who make it all possible

We fished the second event of our Western Cape Team Tournament Trail last week at Poortjieskloof Dam and managed a win in some quite testing conditions as bigger bites were extremely hard to come by.
We also needed to make use of our official reserve angler William Myers who stepped in for Vincent who was on boat supply & support for Team USA at World Champs.
The Berkley Stunna Plus 1 in the stealth shad colour was the difference for us as this bait landed the two biggest fish in the tournament and secured us the win. Thank you William for stepping in and fishing like a champion. It was a pleasure sharing the deck with you.

Not the result we were aiming for our country, and it's not about individual performance at these internationals, however, we are extremely proud and realy stoked that we as an individual boat did well. (12th of 52boats / and yes it says 13th on the scorecard, but they had our weight wrong with 30grams, we decided to not make a issue of it)
