It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to close up my workshop.

The past year and a half have been an amazing journey, and I have made amazing connections with many people, buyers, and suppliers.

I started a new position beginning 2024, and with new family responsibilities and new commitments, knifemaking will have to stand down for now. Thus, I have decided to sell off my workshop and spend my free time on my many other existing hobbies.

I apologize to those who have been hoping to buy a knife, but realistically, I can not make it happen anymore. If you need some recommendations for other knifemakers, let me know... there are many great makers in our country!

Thank you for following along on my knifemaking journey, and hopefully, one day, we can pick up again where we left off.

Emergency sheaths for these Tuna fillet knives for a client for Christmas. Client supplied the knives and asked for some kydex sheaths. It was a pretty odd shape and difficult size to work with since it was wider than my kydex press. But overall it came out alright and I am pleased with the nylon webbing and mounting space 🤙

Little upgrade to my tools 🤩 I finally got myself a nifty and pretty demagnitizer unit, which is long overdue! Every once in a while, a knife blade gets magnified, and whacking the blade on a hard surface doesn't always work... pretty stoked 😁

A little something different thay I whipped up while working on a batch of these Model BB EDC knives.
First time trying this type of texture and finish, and I like it more than I thought I would 🤩

Pink is not a color I would have used myself, but after being asked for a Pink Little Wanderer, I was surprised how nice it actually looks and even my wife wanted it 😅

It's been a busy couple of weeks and things are slowly coming together now. I have a few projects I am working on simultaneously and it feels like I am not making much progress but then suddenly things start to fall into place as certain steps in these bigger batches of knives are completed.

Next thing you know, you got a load of knives on the table in front of you, ready to go - what a satisfying feeling!

Shop Upgrade 🥳 I am so excited about this. It is going to be a game changer. No more driving up and down to test my heat treatment recipes and assuming I am getting it right every single time. Now, I can test each blade and confirm the hardness of each blade on each certificate.

I have been looking around for a Rockwell Hardness Tester for a while, and they are scarce. Now, I can spend more time doing experiments on my heat treatment to ensure I heat treat my steel optimally and reach the desired hardness.
