17km into it I stopped for a quick gulping down of a energade at the engen I came across. But within a minute and a half I was back running again. 😂
I haven't run long distance in a while so today was just a spare of the moment decision which I didn't give my mind a chance to deliberate after making it. Still got 20km in 1h55m so I guess I didn't do too bad. 🤷🏿♂️
Anyways, it was just about challenging myself and building a stronger will. Which I am certain I did. And I am grateful.

Late is better than never right? 💪🏽🥊
Came across the idea of "persisting until you succeed" late in life. But ever since I started making it a part of my subconsious mind and embracing it,
I have seen a lot of positive results in my life, and in the lives of those I surround myself with.
I learnt boxing and kickboxing at 20 when people said I was too old to learn.
I learnt how to coach people, and have been steadily building my reputation in the field, and today I have a few very happy clients that even became friends.
I have been self-employed for 8 years and learning about business and the psychology needed to win.
I have built up a network of very supportive and reliable people around me.
I am always learning new things, and most importantly overcoming my fear of failing.
I am still going to fail even more, and I look forward to it now, because I have learnt that's how you grow.🌱
You really can become anything you decide you want to be in this world. Not saying it will be easy, but I am saying ITS POSSIBLE!
To you my friend, if you're still hesitating about whether or not to chase your dream, all I have to say is, "Now is a better time than Never". Credit to Pharrell Williams preaching in one of his popular videos.
Bet on yourself; dare to chase your dreams even while you still have doubt in your mind.
Work daily to overcome the doubt, the naysayers, and build confidence in yourself.
It really is a hard journey, but that will be very rewarding in it's own way if you stick to your plan.
So from me to you;
I believe in you fellow dreamer.
Persist until you succeed! Love yourself enough to bet on yourself, and love other people.❤️💪🏽

I go to bed everyday knowing that I am a champion; I am a warrior; I am relentless; I touch people's lives in a positive way; And each and everyday, in every way, I am getting better and better. 💪🏽🫠🥊🥋📍
