PUFfeR: Peninsula Ultra Trail Race

Hi All, we are getting ready for our first recce run next weekend. This recce is geared at PufHie runners and will run sections of the route.

NB, Please take note of the date change. The recce will now be Saturday 6 June and not Sunday 7 June as initially indicated.

Please indicated on the poll below if you will be joining us. We will aim to have two pace groups, a medium paced group and chilled group.

Runners need to ensure they are self sufficient and carry enough food and water for at least 2 to 3 hours on the mountain. A space blanket, rain jacket and first aid kit is advisable.

We will share a GPX file next week!

Recce Schedule
7 June - PufHie Recce with FHAC - Constantia Neck – HH Dam - +- 17km

20 June - Tuffer PUFfeR, PUFfeR and PufHie recce with MR O - Constantia Neck Escape Route - +- 20km

27 June - Community Run - FHAC – 3 Peaks. All welcome - +- 25km

4 July - Tuffer PUFfeR, PUFfeR recce with FHAC - Blackhill, Kleinplaas, Lewis Gay Dam - +-15 – 20km

12 July - SAVE THE DATE – More info to follow

19 July - Tuffer PUFfeR, PUFfeR recce with the Muizenberg Trail Dawgs - Noordhoek – Finish - +- 40km

2 Aug - Tuffer PUFfeR, PUFfeR, PufHie recce with MR O - Constantia Neck to Finish (excludes HH Dam) - +- 20km

9 Aug - Volunteers Run. Some volunteers will be running PUFfeR and PufHie. Feel free to come and support or run sections of the route

16 Aug - Community Run - Tuffer PUFfeR, PUFfeR, PufHie send off run at FHAC - +- 10km

This year’s finish line will be powered by the  bringing together 15 vendors serving up an incredible variety of food options to satisfy every taste.
