Last night I attended the launch of Rack n Grill’s flagship store at Glenwood Shopping Center in Goodwood/Townsend Estate.
While my brother has opened several stores since RnG was established, all have them have since closed - operating only with his well known trailers for a couple of years now.
The reason why this one is special, is not because it’s a bounce-back. It’s because this store is the culmination of grit, resilience, believing in your dream, and never giving up on it.
He’s wanted a spot here for the last 10years and while he opened stalls all over Cape Town, this is place he wanted to be. But there was never an opportunity.
The truth is, the opportunity was always written for him. Him and his wife Bahiya just had to keep believing and be patient.
10 years later their patience has paid off, their dream has been achieved, their hearts are full, and I couldn’t be happier for and more proud of my brother.
Congratulations bro and sis. May this be even more than you dreamed it would be.
