This winter that is slowly approaching us and is nearly here.
Just a few pointers if you are considering joining our jolly group aka Run Walk for Life Sea Point.
We have a different route for every session.
Distances various between 5 - 8km per session
None of our members is allowed to walk on their own during session days only in groups of two or more.
Wear reflective clothing or a bright t shirt or jacket
If possible, a headlamp will be welcomed.
All new members must do a fitness assessment before being allowed to participate in our Scientifically based program.

The year was 1992. We had a track session at Green Point Stadium, i was the only one in the training group that couldn't run my times set out by the coach (Gavin Doyle) i was really battling that evening. The Coach said that i must go and run the SAD 21km the following day (1st May) also known as workers day to clear my mind. The rest is history.

Hey all whatever everyone says to you, this is doable and we at RWFL will be with you from your first day until you successfully complete this challenge.
Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just joined our club, this is your opportunity to test your limits and prove your strength.
We're excited to announce a unique challenge where you'll complete your chosen distance over six days, with equal distances each day. Here's the breakdown:
9Km: 6 days of 1.5 Km/day
21 Km: 6 days of 3.5 Km/day
30 Km: 6 days of 5 Km/day
42 Km: 6 days of 7 Km/day
54 Km: 6 days of 9 Km/day
Finishers will earn a well-deserved medal, showcasing your determination and commitment. Let's lace up, hit the pavement, and conquer this challenge together! Are you ready to go the distance?
