More than just a great day of golf, this event is raising funds for our Visual Motor Programme (VMP), which supports the development of essential skills such as reading, writing, coordination, concentration, and learning readiness in our Foundation Phase learners.

Winter league

Held at Strand golf club over 36 holes, our guys were leading with Strand hot on their heels all day. In the end we lost to Strand by just 1 stroke, coming second on -10 to Strand’s -11.

All 4 of our players did very well as follows:

Our Harry Solomon side took on Metropolitan on Saturday, fresh off their victory against Parow last week.

Once again, the guys played brilliantly, as they beat Metropolitan 5,5 – 2,5.
Well done gentlemen!

Their next fixture is against Clovelly on the 6th of June.

𝘕𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘴 𝘕𝘦𝘸𝘴

Vice-Captain Steve Du Pont represented Westlake at the WP Nomads game at Westlake last Thursday. He presented a tie to new Nomads Captain Andrew Doubell.

Stuart Gedrim celebrated 45 years as a Nomad on Thursday, only the 22nd in WP Nomads history to reach this milestone. He has played 306 games with the Nomads in that time.

Congratulations Stuart!
