Montrose Cricket Club was established in a Banana Store in District Six,a vibrant community area,on the periphery of Cape Town in 1950.Its membership has always been very cosmopolitan,representing the full spectrum of all religions,racial and class divides and it has been firmly entrenched as a community sporting institution.
