Thank you to East Claremont Community Church for giving us 100 blankets to pass on to our clients in communities hardest hit by the cold Cape Town winter.

We have just sent out our latest news update, reminding us to love our neighbours well during these storms, as well as during the storms of lives impacted by poverty and injustice and lack of opportunity.

The City Mission team love walking alongside people on their journey towards wellness and thriving. The Introduction to Computers course runs all year round -- and is about much more than computers!

John 10:10: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Join us in our mission to help people come to that "abundant life" that Jesus promised us.

At City Mission we understand that lasting change takes time and intentionality and resources. We are here to walk alongside people who have lost hope. One of our most common feedback lines from women who have gone through the Her Dignity course is that they felt hope for the first time in a long time.

Hebrews 6:19 says: "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."

We are so proud of two of our young men who have been journeying with us since 2023 through City Mission. Today, they’ve completed their Barista Training Course 👨🏾‍🍳☕ — a big step toward finding employment and building a brighter future! 🙌🏽

This milestone is not just a certificate, but a symbol of growth, perseverance, and hope. 🌱💪🏾
