May the morning open before you
like a road shaped just for your feet.
May you feel guided with every step,
even when the way curves gently out of sight.
May you trust the power within you,
even when you feel tender or down.
May trust anchor your journey,
and peace walk beside you.

The Trail That Listens

The old ones believed
that every soul is born
with two companions:

one made of silence,
and one made of instinct.

If we ignore them too long,
the heart forgets its direction.

So our grandmothers taught us
to walk slowly through life—
slow enough to hear
what the earth is trying to forgive.

There are spirits
who do not fear loneliness,
because they understand
that solitude is sometimes
where the Creator speaks the clearest.

They carry gentleness
like sacred water in their hands,
careful not to spill it
on bitterness.

And when the world becomes cruel,
they do not answer with anger.
They answer by remaining soft
in a world that demands stone.

An elder once whispered to me:

“The wild heart is not dangerous
when it remembers compassion.”

So walk your path quietly.
Protect what is innocent.
Love without needing ownership.
And trust the unseen things
that still choose
to walk beside you.
