🕊️ Today, our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to a true legend of Avendale football club. With deep sadness, we mourn the loss of Derick "Airwolf" Arrison, whose legacy will forever echo through the halls of our clubhouse, Field crescent and the community. His dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the sport have inspired generations of coaches, players and countless others.

Our deepest sympathies go out to his family at this time🙏

A huge shoutout to our U12s who were runners up in the Junior knockout finals last weekend👏👏 after a hard fought 90 minutes they went down 5-3 after extra time...An amazing & resilient performance by some of the future stars of our club💪💪

What a weekend for our club! With 2 teams representing in the knockout finals and our minis taking part in the Rygate cubs tournament, was definitely a busy one😁

Our ladies unfortunately went down 9-0 in their game, but to make it to the cup final only 3 years after they were formed, is an amazing achievement✌️✌️💪

Our social team after being crowned league champions last week (with an invincible season to add to their achievement) they came out 2-1 victors on the day👏👏

To end off the weekend in spectacular fashion, out U8s also ended up as runners up in the platinum section of the Rygate cubs tournament😁

Thanks to all supporters, members, coaches and players for a fantastic season💃😊
