Lindenberg Racing is a strong medium for the promotion of it's sponsoring brands, and has a history of long term partnerships. At our premises in Malmesbury we build oval track cars from scratch, fabricate role cages and high performance exhaust systems and are the leading manufacturer of historic racing saloon cars in the country, having built all three of the legends '65 Galaxies and the 5 Basil Green approved Group 2 Capri Peranas.

This year’s Simola Hillclimb saw Paige Lindenberg mark her return to the track for the first time since October last year, following a short break to welcome her newborn into the world.

It’s been 2 weeks since the dust settled at the close of the 16th Simola Hillclimb.
Looking back on yet another world-class event, described by James Temple as his favourite event of the year, it’s impossible not to appreciate the brands and partners that help make weekends like these possible.

2026 Official Wrap 🏁🔥
Knysna delivered some incredible weather (for a change ☀️) that made for a spectacular weekend all round.
Classic Car Friday was nothing short of an exceptional showing from the Lindenberg Racing drivers 👏
James Temple pushed the limits in the Daytona, securing top spot in the class final to wrap up a solid day's driving 🏆 A tap of a policeman in his Top 10 Shootout run - described as “the drive of the day” - unfortunately ruled him out of another potential podium finish. But as James put it: “you’re either going to finish in the top 3 or in 10th place… so you have to give it your all.” 💬
A mindset truly indicative of the Lindenberg Racing philosophy.
In Class H5, Djurk Venter delivered an exceptional performance, steering the Es**rt - fondly dubbed “the little car that could” by Team Principal .temple - to a 2nd place finish 🥈
made a strong debut at Simola, showing great pace and composure throughout the weekend. A confident first outing on the hill that sets the tone for what’s to come 💪
On Saturday and Sunday, King of the Hill saw mark her return to racing after stepping away to welcome her newborn 👶❤️ - an incredible comeback as she jumped straight back into competition. Alongside , the duo took on a change in pace in the EV class, piloting the Changan K50 REEV and Deepal S07 up the hill ⚡
With James clocking mid-50s and Paige hitting a minute flat ⏱️, it was a strong display of driver ability - and a standout debut for our partners Changan, marking their first appearance at Simola following their South African launch last year 🇿🇦🚗
Overall, another great weekend for the team 🙌 We’re incredibly grateful to our partners who make it all possible and look forward to pushing forward together for the rest of the 2026 season 🚀
