JMI Soccer Academy U11b

Ah well....... a 2 - 0 loss to Northpine today. But a good effort by the boys, having to get used to two players going up to the 11as. But we must remember that we learn in the valleys, not in the peaks, it is not about winning the game, but more about how we cope with that loss and learning and moving on. Well done to the boys for keeping their heads up and never giving up.

We play Northpine on Saturday, 25 May 2013. Looking forward to a great game, things learnt, awesome camaraderie between boys, and parents. Lovely day out. Please remember to be at the field (PHS) by 810am, we will leave at 820 promptly. Please also remind your boys to bring their full blue kit. I encourage you to ensure that your boys have an early night followed by a good nutritious breakfast before arriving at the field.

Precedence and Lisa

Good morning: The friendly kindly arranged for our U11bs by Coach Jean Marc, against Edgemead, will take place at Pinelands High School fields, with kickoff at 10am sharp, on Saturday, 11 May 2013. Please ensure the players are at the field at 845am at the latest, appropriately dressed.

Thank you Coach Dayle for wonderful fun-filled team build on Milnerton Beach yesterday. And the weather played along too. It brought home to us how blessed we are to live in this beautiful city and for our boys to be part of this amazing Academy with the input of the legendary Coach Dayle, where the focus is not on winning at all costs, but on building these young boys into the kind of men that our society needs. Thank you to all involved, including our unbeatable parents for their loyalty and support.

See you all at Pinelands High between 830 and 9 am on Saturday, 4 May 2013, for our trip to the Lighthouse at Milnerton Beach for a morning of beach soccer with Coach Dayle and our boys. Please send a plate of eats and something to drink with your son, and if you are joining the rest of the parents, please bring a plate of eats to share and something to drink with you too. The plan is to leave the boys with coach for fun and bonding time, and for the parents to sit away from them and to have our own fun and bonding time. We expect to be back at the High School between 11 and 1130.

What a game: JMI 3 - 1 Norway Park. Our boys did us so proud! And in the face of ..................... challenges in timing. So very very proud of our boys and of their parents for their unwavering support and dedication to the Academy and their boys. And last but not least : a big thanks to Coach for us dedication to our boys.

Dear Parents, our Coach Dayle plays for Saxon Rovers - what do you all think about taking our boys to watch their Coach playing a game some time? Please let me have your thoughts.

Dear Parents and Players: a reminder to meeet at 830 sharp tomorrow morning (1/5) at Pinelands High before we travel in convoy to play our match against Norway Parks B at Royal Road B. Precedence will be sending you a map to print out, together with directions in case you should get separated from the the "pack". Please remember: an early night and a good breakfast!
