Yesterday morning one of our clients walk in, sharing a conversation he had on the weekend with a friend.
Client "You know when my back hurts....I think I must go to The Gymnasium.
Friend "Should you go to physio rather? Won't gym make it worse"
Client "You don't understand" he says to his friend."They are not a normal gym'
This type of conversation encapsulates our philosophy at The Gymnasium. Yes we are personal trainers, Pilates teachers, Yoga practitioners and movement therapists but most importantly we empathetic humans who draw from a broad base of knowledge to give our clients the training session their bodies need.

Yesterday, after a training session with a new client, I quizzed her if she noticed any change since we started training six weeks earlier. Her reply was "Yesterday the lifts weren't working so I had to take the stairs up to our office on the 6th floor. I felt stronger all the way up, and my clothes seem to fit me better. Yes I feel great!"
Adding value to our clients lives through our controlled interventions and equipping them with the necessary tools to be in control of their own bodies is the greatest reward for us. We love our jobs :-)
