Namaste. 🙏
When was the last time you bowed down?
Why am I asking you this question? Because bowing down can mean a lot. It might mean you physically bow down to someone or something or you may do it mentally. Bowing down is a very strong gesture of devotion.
Devotion arises from humility. Humility might be one of the most important but also one of the hardest things we can practice. I feel that bowing down to someone give me a feeling of letting go and freedom. The freedom of not having to control or do anything.
I know that it is not always easy and there might even be some resistance even thinking about bowing down to someone. Maybe you even have old conditioned stuff coming up when thinking of people who were bowing down, that you cannot relate to right now.

🌍 Standing Asana is best to reflect upon our own connection to the earth.
The word Asana means "connection to the earth" and standing and balancing asanas are especially helpful to experience it, reflect upon it and harmonize it.
Today's practice is called "Vrkshasana" or "Tree Seat."
1️⃣ Stand with feet together.
2️⃣ Bring right knee into chest and open it out to the right.
3️⃣ Place the sole of right foot against left inner thigh, palms together in front of the chest.
4️⃣ Raise your arms up.
5️⃣ Gaze forward, press left foot down into the earth and lift up through the crown of the head.
6️⃣ Imagine you draw up energy by rooting down, just like a tree is growing its roots deep down into the earth to pull up nutrients and water in order to grow.
Hold for 10 breaths then change sites.
✅ Quick Tip: If this version is to unstable try putting the foot further down, against the inside of the opposite shin or even ankle, with the ball of the foot on the floor.
Have you ever tried the Asana practice before? If you need help with this practice, leave a comment or send me a DM. I will be more than happy to help you.
