EXCITING NEWS: Netball Academy this weekend: Tshina Mdau, Spar Protea Netball Player, will be joining us this Saturday at the the netball academy.

We will be extending the time to 11:30 so that we can give the girls some nice quality time to meet and engage with her and maybe take some pics to.

Know Your Players Segment

Sigi Burger () has proven that hard work, dedication and resilience are key for success.

She attended La Rochelle Girls High School and completed her studies at NWU, where she was named as the NWU Junior Sportswoman in 2016 and the NWU Senior Sportswoman in 2018.

She was part of the South African Netball Squad that finished fifth place at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the squad that finished fourth at the 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool.

In 2018, I was declared to have the highest shooting average in the Vitality Netball Superleague.

She continues to represent South Africa as a goal shooter and goal attack. She is currently signed to the Leeds Rhinos Netball team for the 2022 season.

We are excited to announce our segment called: Know Your Players.

Shadine van der Merwe () is a player we've admired over the past seasons since her Varsity Sports years.
She is a brilliant and robust defender and super friendly and humble too.

She attended Hoerskool Aksia and completed her studies at the
University of Pretoria (Tuks), where she represented the-team at
Varsity Netball.

She was part of the South African Netball Squad that finished fifth place at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the squad that finished fourth at the 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool.

She continues to represent South Africa as a defender, playing
WD, GD, and GK. She is currently signed to the Manchester Thunder for the 2022 season.
