The month started the right way: around one table.
Homemade lasagne by Prince, plenty of laughter and a moment to connect beyond the day-to-day. The work matters, but so do the people behind it.
A pretty good Monday, if you ask us.

One of the most meaningful things we introduced this season was LLP - our Location Liaison Program.
As the season grew more complex, we wanted to add another layer of care on the ground: support for homeowners, protection for homes and a more hands-on presence on shoot day.
In the recap conversation, LLP is described as a new part of how Amazing Spaces shows up - not just through bookings, but through real people, in real spaces, helping things run smoothly.
It also builds on something that has always mattered to us: the human connection. Renee has been part of Amazing Spaces since the early Cape Town production days, and LLP carries that same approach forward - our dedicated local real estate agents helping protect each home, support production and stay close to the detail. The team also spoke about how this is part of a bigger philosophy: we don’t just sign homes and disappear - we visit, we check in and we stay connected.

We heard you
and listened.
We know the industry is under pressure to keep costs down without cutting quality and this season we wanted to respond in a practical way. That’s why we introduced our Value Spotlight Collection: 102+ curated locations with full-day film rates of R30,000 or less - high-value, well-managed and shoot-ready.
It’s part of a bigger shift in how we’ve supported productions this season: being more responsive to budgets, more proactive about value, and more committed to helping good jobs keep moving.
And that’s the Amazing Spaces difference: more value, less drama.

Some of the work we loved seeing out in the world this season.
From M&S to Woolworths, Checkers, VW, NRBY Clothing and Fidelity Canada, these productions brought our locations to life in very different ways - and we’re proud to have been part of it.
A big thank you to our incredible clients who keep coming back, trusting our spaces and creating the kind of work that makes all of this magic possible. Your briefs push us, your teams inspire us and it’s always a privilege to watch these locations become something bigger on screen.

To the mothers
At .spaces, and Mother’s Day holds a very special place in our hearts. As a proudly women-led, women-filled business, founded by a woman, we know the strength, tenderness, resilience and love that mothers carry every single day.
In our office, we understand school drop-offs, sick days, family emergencies, tired mornings, tears, deadlines and celebrations. We understand that life and work often move together and we are proud to be a team that makes space for both.
To a mother, the mothers, your mother and ours - thank you for showing us what it means to love deeply, lead boldly and set no limits.
We hope you felt celebrated, cherished and warm this Mother’s Day - especially with this wild Cape Town weather calling for blankets, tea and home comforts.

Rainy days call for a change of plans.
Instead of our monthly team walk, we gathered at the lovely local for coffee while the rain came down - followed by a team lunch later that afternoon. A reminder that good teams aren’t built only in meetings, but in the moments between them.
