We recently hosted an Aqualung and Apeks service technician course at Dive Action, where technicians from , , joined our own technician Joe for hands on learning. The course covered general regulator handling, including disassembly and reassembly principles, and concluded with an exam to support safe and reliable servicing standards. Continued technical development like this helps keep divers confident in the equipment they depend on.

A day of first breaths below the surface.
We spent the morning with the matrics of Groote Schuur High School, introducing them to the world of scuba and freediving.
From learning to breathe underwater to finding calm in a single breath, it’s always incredible watching curiosity turn into confidence.

Ever wondered how we keep our scuba gear in top condition after hundreds of dives?
Here’s a peek behind the scenes. This is how we store our BCDs, wetsuits, regulators, and fins to make sure every piece of equipment stays safe, dry, and dive-ready.
Wetsuits are rinsed and hung in the shade, never folded or left in the sun.
BCDs are stored slightly inflated to keep their shape.
Regulators are rinsed, capped, and hung to dry properly.
Fins and masks are stored flat and protected.
Cylinders are stored upright.
Proper post-dive care doesn’t just keep gear looking good; it extends its life, improves safety, and ensures your next dive is as smooth as the last.
Take care of your gear, and it’ll take care of you underwater.

Two tanks, one fresh perspective underwater.
Our first Sidemount Try Dives kicked off at Dive Action. A hands-on intro to this unique, streamlined configuration.
It’s a different setup, same sense of adventure.
Whether you’re curious, training, or just keen to try something new, sidemount diving is about exploring options, not replacing them.
