One of our local cyclists, Carel van der Merwe, rode in his first-ever Cape Town Cycle Tour, and Ruan had the pleasure of fitting his bike for the event. This is what Carel had to say after the race:

"My first Argus. A wonderful experience. Rode with my son and daughter-in-law. No problems with my bike - well fitted (thanks, Ruan), mechanically perfect (thanks, Paul), and all accessories perfect. It was great to have the support from the GET team in preparing me and my bike. Thank you. Will see you guys again soon sometime."
