This Thursday : we launch our women’s month exhibition.

“Embodied Resistance” - An exhibition exploring the body as a site of protest, power and survival.

This group show honours the history of women, trans and non-binary artists and performers about how their bodies are sites and symbols of protest.
From battles over reproductive rights to the deep scars left by gender-based violence, the body speaks; in refusal and in survival. Doors open at 6pm.

DJ Athi Maq will play a 3hour set for us from 9pm : a sonic journey of embodied liberation — connecting past and present, using rhythm and texture to reflect on the body as a site of resistance and memory. Expect an immersive soundscape that echoes the spirit of the exhibition.

Winter has arrived with splendour and vitality here in our little corner of the world. At this time of year, when outdoor activity is not high on the list of things to do, we often find ourselves reflecting on life and the state we find ourselves in. Certainly there are challenges, however, sometimes the challenges we have within, are greater than the external forces we face.

A Reminder of *24-Hour CONNECTATHON* Join us for 24-hours of speakers from around the world from ToDaY Saturday 22 March 5pm (SA time) to 5pm 23 March.

This FREE *Global Equinox Gathering of Change Makers* for 24 continuous hours, is a space where we hold the Earth and Humanity, connecting in global conversations aimed at shaping our collective future. This is not just another event, but a bold movement of shared exploration, insight, and action. Our purpose is to unite our past, present, and future as we co-create a path forward that embraces our deep humanity in balance with the world around us. This Connectathon we are pleased to include some of our Hogsback locals - *Santhan Naidoo from CommuniTrees* (Sunday morning 10am), *Lynne van Zyl / Gogo NomVuka* in Women and the Rivers that run through us - Women's Circle (tonight 9pm), and *Suzie Mae Jenkins* who is hosting various conversations incl.
