We gather to honor the life of Mercia Teubes, beloved wife of our Langa Rugby Club life member, Tubby Teubes.

To the Teubes family, to Paul and Teresa, to the grandchildren, children, and in-laws: we share in your sorrow and hold you in our thoughts during this time. Mercia was the heart of your family, and the strength behind a man who gave so much to our club.

To the , , and the wider rugby fraternity: Mercia was one of us. She stood beside Tubby through the seasons, the matches, the wins and losses, always part of the spirit that makes this club more than a team. Her quiet support, warmth, and presence touched everyone who knew her.

May her memory live on in the stories told at the clubhouse, in the pride of her family, and in the values of loyalty and community she helped uphold.

Rest in peace, Mercia. You will not be forgotten.
