Well Done Adnaan We Are Proud of You

The Bishops Community wishes Adnaan Lagadien very well ahead of his journey to Pretoria on Thursday the 24th to attend a three-day Cricket South Africa (CSA) national u17 camp. Adnaan’s invite to the camp speaks volumes for the increasingly high regard in which he is being held by those at CSA overseeing the development of South Africa’s next generation of cricketers.

Well Done to our U11 boys this past weekend. In their WPCA League match.

They played Hanover Park U11 a few weeks ago and lost by 20 runs chasing 180 away at Hanover Park CC.
This past Saturday HPCC visited us and we managed to defend 137 in another very close came, Green Point winning by 10 runs.

It was a great team effort with everyone contributing.

What great experience CPL11 2022 was for a young talented group of players.

It was a tournament filled with brilliant moments by a team consisting of three 9 year olds eight 10 year olds and one 11 year old playing in an age group up. They knew it would be tough going into the tournament, but still showed great fight and a positive attitude towards the game and their team mates when things didn’t go their way.
This allowed everyone in the squad to grow as cricketers and continue developing their understanding of the game, instead of being upset and distracted by negativity.

They will be back next year 😀🏏💪 a little bit bigger, stronger and with an increased cricket IQ 🧠

Until then it’s back to regular cricket every week for the boys, where they will look to hone their skills 🏃🏽😓💪📚▶️🏏

The End of The Road 😔

An Unfortunate end to a good start to the CPL13 2022 Tournament.

Our U13 Team only managed to win 2 out of 5 group matches. Resulting in the team being knocked out of the tournament before reaching the semi finals.

They will work hard and be back next year!!
