It was an honour to provide a space for the United Nations Human Rights to host the B-Tech Africa launch event in Philippi Village last Thursday.
Critical stakeholders from the digital economy came together to discuss the policies and regulations required to transform the digital human rights landscape in Africa. The forum aimed to improve company practice, particularly within Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
Key objectives included discussing prevalent human rights risks, approaches to ensuring adequate uptake of the UNGPs, and building capacity for key stakeholders on the understanding and adoption of the UNGPs. Let's continue working towards safeguarding human rights and reducing risks for businesses within the technology sector.

50% Rates Relief Increase!🤲
At the City of Cape Town we are doing all we can to protect lower and middle-income families from cost of living pressures.
One way we have done so is by increasing the rates-free portion of properties under R5 million by 50%, from R300 000 to R450 000.
This is massive rates relief for Capetonians.
