A fantastic and successful internal tournament was held at Ikamva this past weekend!🏆

The teams were constructed from players of every age group of the club from U/12s up to U/18s. This gave the boys a unique opportunity to get to know each other and their fellow club mates bringing them closer together in their representation under the Cape Town Spurs FC outfit. 🛡️🔴🔺

Free State → Cape Town. A new football pathway has opened. 🤝⚽

Cape Town Spurs and Welkom Football Academy (WFA) have agreed on a cooperation deal that will see young WFA players join the Urban Warrior Schools Development project (U12–U18), with the first intake in June 2026. Spurs will also provide technical expertise to help grow the game in the Free State.

Founded by former Spurs (Ajax CT) player Lerato Manzini, WFA is building a model where hard work, discipline, and education go hand in hand.

As Manzini says: “We are not just looking for the next star.”
