We've enjoyed bringing interesting talks and workshops to our community because we believe in sharing education and information.

We hope that through this, we have added new ways of thinking, doing or just left you with being entertained by international racing stories.

Most of us carried a CO2 canister for months before we ever used one.
Not because it's hard, but because nobody showed us, and the hiss is louder than you expect.

Here's what actually helps:

Practise once at home, not on the side of Chappies.
Open your valve before you screw the head on.
Release in short bursts. You are in control, not the canister.
It gets very cold, so hold it with a glove, sleeve or rag.
CO2 leaks out faster than air, so top up with a pump when you are home.

If you've never done it, pop into the shop and ask us to show you.
We'll do it together.

When that dreaded feeling hits....

You've been enjoying your Saturday ride along Chappies, the weather stupendously beautiful.

And then it happens.

You notice your bike doing something funny.

You stop to take a look and notice your tyre going flat, quickly.

Last night's broken bottle that lay relaxed in the yellow lane a few meters away from you. Its captured another victim.

Your stomach drops.
It's time to put that workshop training you did last week to use.

You pull out the spares you made sure to have with you - based on the advice from the workshop.

With a big breath you ask your friend to hold your bike and you get cracking on doing the necessary repair.

Because you've got this.
You know what to do.
