On days glorious as this, winter shifts into spring. The deep silent unseen secret inner movements which characterize winter, the time which may have seemed as though its darkness would forever engulf any spark, is now past. Suddenly the energy is no longer in the inner focus, the deeper darker waters, and we see the magic of new beginnings. The paring down of the hibernatory time has brought a clarity.
On this clear blue skied bare armed day I announce "This is Spring. Happy Spring everybody!"
These movements are happening inside our body all the time. For we are not separate from nature, we human beings ARE nature. Cycles of Winter to Spring to Summer to Hottest Peak Summer to Autumn to Spring span years and also play out in each single day; natural movements outwards to a peak and inwards to a still resting; outwards to a full busyness and inwards to a letting go integration. Each of these phases are precious. None of us can live one season all the time and be fully alive in the wellness of being.
The art of Jin Shin Jyutsu has so much helped me to understand these cycles and to know how to harmonise those aspects of myself that would get stuck in a particular phase of this expression.
I love sharing this information with other people and look forward to the teaching weekend coming up 23-24th Sept. I also love sharing in each individual hands on healing session where this understanding is always helpful in deep and practical ways.
