Tonight, we celebrate a very special milestone ... The official SAMCA Protea Blazer Ceremony took place this evening, honouring the athletes and coaches who have been selected to represent South Africa on the international stage. 🌎🪄

Western Province was proudly represented, with five athletes and one coach receiving their Protea [blazers] Colours.

To our six new Proteas: congratulations on this incredible achievement! 🥂 Wear that blazer with pride, you’ve earned it!

Western Province is incredibly proud of you and wishes you all the very best as you continue to represent our province and South Africa. 💪💚💛🇿🇦

Our Western Province National Team athletes and coach have travelled to Johannesburg this morning for their final training camp before they head off to Poland next week. ✈️🇵🇱🌎

We wish them a productive camp and the very best as they put the finishing touches to their preparations! 🪄

Each athlete has shown incredible dedication and passion throughout the trials, and we couldn’t be prouder to see them represent our province at the highest level. 💪

Throwback to our Majorettes' Development / Skills Day on 08 August 2026 — a day focused on learning, refining, and building confidence across multiple levels of development. 🙌💫

There was something for everyone ... from first-timers taking their first steps with baton and non-prop, to more advanced athletes pushing their skills further in preparation for our upcoming Provincial Trials. 🤏

And the journey continues this weekend, with another Development / Skills Day, this time focusing on flag, double flag, and mace.
