“Letters That Found Their Way Home” 💌

Speaker. Facilitator. Founder of Leadership Before Power.

At just 16, growing up on the Cape Flats, Sidley du Preez began writing letters. At the time, she had no idea how much those words would mean to the people receiving them, or that they would one day find their way back to her.

Today, through Leadership Before Power, Sidley takes her story into schools, institutions and international platforms, opening conversations about courage, responsibility and the choices we make long before anyone gives us a leadership title.

She believes that even the smallest actions can have an impact far beyond anything we could imagine.

And with a talk titled “Letters That Found Their Way Home”, we're intrigued to discover just where those letters travelled and what happened when they came home.💌

Lately, though, her thoughts have turned to some of life's bigger questions, shaped by personal experiences that have given her an unexpected wealth of knowledge.

With warmth, honesty and a touch of wit, Janis brings a deeply human perspective to a subject we don't always know how to talk about.

Passionate about the power of performance, Keenan believes in theatre's ability to educate, challenge and inspire.
