60th birthday free event

Well ... I turn 60 on the 3rd of June. It seems ridiculous even saying it .. but I have to accept this truth 😀

I feel so incredibly honoured to be alive and to be able to live with intention and awareness. Some of you know that it hasn't always been like that for me .. my path has had many twists and turns .. some really challenging, but I feel that makes me even more grateful.

In addition to my family, one of the things I am most grateful for is to share moments with community ... moments that hopefully are as grounding, nourishing and healing for you as they are for me.

So I want to celebrate my birthday by hosting a free event on Sunday 07 June. I will be hiring Silent Music's headphones again and we will gather at the Small Bay park, like we did for the Meditation with Headphones event.

However this time it will be more of a storytelling event, where I will share some of the key moments of my journey and what learnings I gathered along the way. My plan is to intertwine the story telling with some mindfulness practices and some poetry, of course.

So, to those who have been supporting me, by joining my classes and events and sending me your kind and encouraging words .. some for a long time .. and some from more recently, I invite you to join me to celebrate life with me.

Because I am hiring a fixed number of headsets, the spots will be limited. After I have allocated spots to family and close friends .. I will then allocate spots until they run out.

This will also be a weather dependent event.

Date: Sunday 07 June

Time: 8am (It is best to arrive between 07:30 and 07:45 so you can get your headset and find your spot on the grass.

Venue: Small Bay Park (Pellegrini Street, Blouberg)
