The 1970’s and 1980’s was an interesting time for cricket in Langa as many great players came through, namely; through: Stamford Somyo, ‘Killer’ Mshumpela, the Malamba family (Ben, Basil and Rodney), Junior Sokhanyile, Ezra Cagwe, Solomon Fassie and many more.
