CONFLUENCE
Bronze Age × NØDE
with guests Sett & Beat
and present Confluence, an exhibition bringing together sculptural furniture and objects alongside woven works by guest artists .
Hosted during .capetown 18 - 21 Feb 2026
The exhibition is rooted in material exploration, examining the intersection of cast bronze, machined metal, and handwoven fibre. Within the gallery space, heavy sculptural forms meet suspended textile structures, creating a quiet dialogue between permanence and tension, mass and lightness. Through these contrasting yet complementary practices, Confluence reveals how material processes — casting, weaving and handcrafted metal — can converge to form a shared spatial and atmospheric experience.

“Inspired by the enchanting landscapes that envelop the Western Cape of South Africa, “Een Collection” seamlessly blends organic aesthetics with digital craftsmanship, sculpting elements like bronze, travertine, and marble into intricate forms. Evoking landscapes from rugged coastlines to lush forests, the pieces offer functional pieces of art, that transcends boundaries.
Just as the marks and textures on objects of historical significance bear witness to the passage of time, the collection carries its own narrative. The surface textures, carefully crafted to mirror the traces left by erosion invite you to explore the captivating stories hidden within.”

When reached out about cladding a new pizza oven for Lorenzo’s
Restaurant at , we knew it had to be special. What started as a concept of
hammered copper turned into a full-blown digital-meets-traditional design experiment.
THE CONCEPT
The oven needed to echo the estate’s deep connection to jewellery and gemstones — a
glowing faceted jewel in the heart of the restaurant. Instead of hand-beating a dome, we
proposed breaking it into individually designed panels. Each one laser cut. Each one
CNC bent. 252 Unique panels coming together with over 1500 precision bent flanges
and 3000 bolts.
THE DESIGN
Using digital software Rhino and Grasshopper, we built a digital dome from scratch — mapping flat
facets over the 3D-scanned pizza oven. From paper models to brass prototypes, every
stage was tested, iterated, and obsessed over.
THE BUILD
Once fabricated, each panel was hand-sanded and patinated in our studio, creating a
mottled, textured finish — where warmth, shadow, and sheen shift with the light. The panels were assembled and
finally delivered the finished cladding in a single monumental piece.
THE RESULT
A living sculpture that ages gracefully. Function meets form. Tradition meets tech. Heat
meets brass. It’s not just a pizza oven — it’s the crown jewel of the kitchen

Dune pendants.
Formed as if carefully crafted by nature itself, much like sand dunes shaped by the wind. The soft curves and organic shapes of the metal shades mimic the gentle undulations of the dunes, creating a sense of fluidity and movement. The warm and rich patina on the brass, reflects the golden hues of the sun setting over the desert, casting a soft, diffused glow that evokes the serene ambiance of a tranquil evening in the dunes.
Just like the way the wind gently sculpts the sand dunes into their unique and mesmerising forms, these lights add a touch of natural elegance to any space, making it feel both sophisticated and inviting.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the process begins with the forming of the brass, ensuring a sturdy and elegant structure. The lighting methodology involves the reflection of light from a round 30W LED module, which diffuses to create an ambient glow. Each piece is hand-finished and patinated using traditional methods, adding a unique, artisanal touch.
The dune pendants currently come in three variations of shape, allowing for versatile installations. Whether you choose to install a single pendant or create an organic arrangement with multiples, these lights will transform any room into a captivating oasis

Step inside our studio for a behind-the-scenes look at our recent project for the Wine Estate. During the course of which we meticulously crafted 250 unique brass tiles. Each panel was prepared with precision and then treated with an artful patina. Breathing life and character into every piece. Finally, during assembly, every component was bolted together to form a striking dome structure—a true testament to our belief that beauty emerges from both precision and passion.
Stay tuned for images of the completed installation.

Images of the recently opened at the One&Only Cape Town.
The restaurant’s stunning centrepiece is a sculptural curved copper tiled installation. Consisting of 5500 handmade, interlocking copper tiles, meticulously hand laid by our team.
The combination of rich rusty copper tones of the copper and the repetitive rhythm of the tiles, creates a large scale, almost tapestry like, flowing form, over the functioning pizza oven.
Working closely with , further custom textures were developed and utilised through out the space in the shape of various surface applications.
Joining this are a range of bespoke bronze pull handles, a copper tubing shelving unit, some hand formed copper lights, and a bronze and copper foot rail, on the main bar.
All our work is further enhanced by the rest of the interior’s elements by all the other artists and craftsmen that was involved in this project. is well worth the visit, not only for the food, but all the great work that has created a such rich and authentic South African Interior.
