Christian Venter winning the U10 division as well as coming 4th in the U12 division at the WCSA Junior PST held at Big Bay over the weekend. Here with Alex Townsend in 2nd and Tom Salter in 3rd. Well done boys!

If we had to choose a surfer of the contest for the WCSA Junior PST held at Big Bay over the weekend, it would have to be Jake Elkington who managed to scoop both the U14 and U16 boys titles. On top of that, he was the winner of the lucky draw for the Sector 9 skateboard! Great day at the office for Jake! Well done from us.

Big Congrats to all the groms that took part in the WCSA Junior PST on Sunday at Big Bay. Results will be released soon on this page and on the Surfing South Africa website. Well done to the this young surf team who were the only Junior School team to make the finals. We are really proud of them, not only for their result but also for their attitude, team spirit and sportsmanship. Keep it up guys.

The new date for the WCSA GromComp that was postponed last month due to weather is Sunday 3 November. The line-up, schedule and heat sheets will remain the same. Venue to be confirmed, but diarise the date so long. :)

Thanks very much to everyone who was involved today.... Surfing South Africa, Chris, Tash, the judges and all the supportive parents - you guys had such a great attitude. Hopefully we get some sun next time.

Unfortunately the event has been postponed due to a squall that came up in heat 8. What a pity! Will keep you updated on the new date.
