Aikiday closing seminar at Muizenberg Aikido today.
In the about-section of this page it says: "Aikido - Growth - Togetherness". Today this was the feeling at the dojo. Thank you friends. I'm happy for all these Aiki-smiles. Love, Regina

Impressions from AFSA Autumn School 2016 with Franco Martufi Sensei.
The first Annual AFSA Autumn School coincided with the 40th anniversary of the UCT (Hoerikwaggo) Aikido Club. Members of the AFSA aikido community from around the country descended on the University of Cape Town, joined by friends from the small but vibrant Angolan aikido community.
The Autumn School was held under the direction of AFSA Technical Adviser, Sensei Franco Martufi (6th Dan, Aikikai), himself celebrating his 40th anniversary in aikido and a 20 year association with AFSA and South Africa.
2016 is also the 30th anniversary of the Rhodes University Aikido Club.
2016 is also special because it also marks 3 decades of aikido training for both Sensei Ghalib Galant (4th dan, Aikikai) of the UCT Hoerikwaggo dojo, and of Sensei Bruce Alleman (5th Dan, AIkikai) Chief Instructor of AFSA. Both of them based in the Western Cape.
Let the celebrations roll on!
