St Patrick’s Day March 17th
Saint Patrick's Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick (Irish: Lá Fhéile Pádraig), is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick (c. 385 – c. 461), the foremost patron saint of Ireland.

The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, and celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general. Celebrations generally involve public parades and festivals, céilís, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks.

Claddagh Irish & Highland Dance Studio will be celebrating the Irish heritage next week.
It is situated in Bergvliet in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town and offers classes in Irish and Highland dancing. We teach a variety of skill levels and age groups from 4 years all the way to adults. Established 25 years ago by Heather Booysen, an accredited teacher and international judge.
Dancing can be just for fun or all the way to exams and competition level.
