What is a spectrophotometer ❓❔❓

The spectrophotometer is an optical instrument for measuring the intensity of light relative to wavelength. Electromagnetic energy, collected from the sample, enters the device through the aperture and is separated into its component wavelengths by the holographic grating.

The Finding of Trident Instrumentation...

Trident Instrumentation was founded by the late Antonio J. Morrone (Tony), an Instrument Engineer by Profession. Tony majored in the fields of electronic and industrial control systems and had over 30 years of experience in the fields of Industrial and Analytical Instrumentation.

He was there when process logic controllers and computers first started appearing in South Africa and he started focusing on Near Infrared and Segmented Flow Analyzers.

During the years, he attended various international seminars, training courses and interactions with the relevant product gurus, accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Meaningful relationships, both locally and internationally have been formed with suppliers, end users, and their requirements.

Tony had a vision, to run Trident as a family concern with a fresh perspective that would stand the test of time, his patience and long term outlook, thinking years ahead, allowed for good strategy and decision making with solid formal training, solidarity, trust, stability, accountability, flexibility, diversity and commitment.

He firmly believed that to offer a product or a service; one must have a sound understanding of the product, its capabilities and more importantly the client’s requirements, we are currently able to provide excellent service to Companies in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.
