Jackets donated by Bruce Sandmann from Quiver These will keep the IRB drivers nice and warm during training and rescues. Handed out so far to Milnerton Surf Lifesaving Club and Bigbay Surf as well as Alpha surf - Strandfontein Surf - MNandi Surf. We are very grateful thank you

Lifesaving Western Cape wishes Garth Bruwer, Erin Langenhoven, Matthew Brooker and Wilan Basson well on their representation of Lifesaving South Africa at the Orange Cap.

Garth, Erin and Matthew were capped in their President Team Colours, while Wilan Basson was capped in full Protea Colours.

Clifton lifesaving club first duty weekend thank you to the lifeguards for doing voluntary duty

Lifesaving SA wholeheartedly thanks all the volunteers and WEEKEND WARRIORS who contribute to the lifesaving movement on another busy weekend.

If you are making your way to the beach, swimming pools and waterways across South Africa, PLEASE swim where there are lifeguards on duty. REMEMBER to swim between the yellow and red flags, and remember that ALCOHOL and WATER don't mix.
