Trail and Tar

Hi all, compliments of the season to you all, and here’s to 2022 being the year we take back control of our lives and health.
2022 marks the 10th anniversary of our Trail and Tar Wednesday runs, yes we have continued our evening runs, and we are looking to create a 10th anniversary Run, at this stage late in the year, around November.
This is a call for those many hundreds, if not thousands who made Wednesday runs a ritual at some stage of their lives, to join us for this very special occasion. I would be truly honored if as many of you could make it, as I have extremely fond memories of our times together over the years.
I will keep you all up to date with arrangements, but if any of you wish to take up your Wed runs again, please drop me a WhatsApp and I will add you to the Wed group.

I have been putting this post off for a while, but sadly, the time has come and I have decided to close Trail and Tar, as of end April.
The reasons are many and varied, but is the right one, as anyone who has had their own business knows, you just know when it’s time to move on.
To all those who’s lives Trail and Tar has touched over the years, a sincere thank you for the amazing support you have shown us through some tough times. I have absolutely loved every minute of the past 9 years, and have taken so much from the memories created and deep friendships formed, that these will always be happy memories.
To all who I have shouted at, cajoled, pushed or just been rude to, u know it all comes from the right place, and I will miss you all (kinda)
But for now, a short surfing sabbatical, before looking for the next challenge...if you have any bright ideas, you know how to contact me.
