SRBFC in the Community: Against Drugs & Alcohol Abuse 25/09/2012

Salt River Blackpool in the Community: Anti-drug and alcohol abuse campaign
-----------------------------------------------
As a Sporting Organization in the Salt River community, Salt River Blackpool Football Club believes that Drug and Alcohol abuse, not only by members of the direct community but the city as a whole is steadily increasing. We are therefore arranging a peaceful march through the streets of the Salt River neighbourhood to create a greater awareness and make it known that we will not tolerate the selling of drugs & alcohol abuse in our area.

The community will meet at Salt River Blackpool Sports Ground at 13h30 on the 20th October. Before leaving the grounds to march through the streets, a “Drug Free Area” structure will be unveiled at the Blackpool Sports Complex and there will be an opportunity for our guests to address the community.

We humbly request all leaders and members within the community to unite with us in our struggle against drugs and alcohol abuse in the Salt River and Woodstock areas.
