🇮🇹Moreno Rutten speelt momenteel voor FC Crotone in de Serie B. Ondanks dat de competitie door het corona virus is stilgelegd, moet de Bosschenaar met zijn team gewoon doortrainen aangezien ze strijden voor het kampioenschap. Rutten had vorige week nog koorts, maar hoefde niet zich te laten testen op het corona virus. Over zijn tijd in Italië zegt Rutten het volgende: “Het is een leerzaam avontuur, waarin ik me ontwikkel als mens. Ik speel alleen simpelweg te weinig. Wel ben ik een ervaring rijker en heb een andere voetbalcultuur leren kennen. Voor wedstrijden bijvoorbeeld. We gaan hotel-in, hotel-uit. Zo vorige week: donderdag naar Rome, vrijdag naar Venetië. Een dag later een wedstrijd en daarna weer terug. En dit doen we voor thuiswedstrijden ook. Er worden torenhoge salarissen betaald in de Serie B. Maar ten opzichte van Nederland zijn de faciliteiten rondom de club minder.”
