We’re back! After the Memorial Weekend break we are in action on Saturday at Zanewood. Looking to do and .k.ercoffee proud.

Well we promised you a thriller and we delivered. A fifty from Benji as part of a 57 run opening stand allowed us to post 122 in our 20 overs. Pamir looked well set at 104-2 before a brain fade led to a run out. Prem (3-19) then capitlized before , (2-31) and Ady (2-22) produced brilliant second spells to drag the game back to 122 for 9. The number 11 then tried to run a single to short third man for the winning single only to be run out on the second attempt to force the tie. A great game played in a good spirit. Earlier this week, Minnesota Royals were invited to Hilltop Elementary in Inver Grove Heights to give a cricket demonstration to a group of 4th graders. This was part of their study of lesser known sports in the US. We hope the children had as much fun learning as we did showing them our amazing sport. Even the teachers got involved!
