Introducing Mackenzie โœจ our guest teacher .11 ๐Ÿ“ Paarden Eiland, for the next 2 weeks (Wednesday 18:30).

A note from our guest:

" Hi, Iโ€™m Mackenzie!
Iโ€™m a certified yoga teacher offering Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga here in Cape Town. My teaching is rooted in breath, body awareness, and the belief that movement is a form of healing.

Each class I offer is a space for you to explore your body in a way thatโ€™s both challenging and supportive. Whether weโ€™re building strength, increasing mobility, or softening into stillness, I aim to guide students toward deeper presence โ€” physically and emotionally.

I hold certifications in 200hr YTT, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, CPR, Grief Recovery, and Pre/Post Natal Yoga, and I also work with the GBV Mental Wellness Initiative to support fieldworkers through monthly webinars. Iโ€™m passionate about creating accessible, inclusive spaces that honour the nervous system and support long-term wellbeing.

"At the very least, my class should be a necessary yet rejuvenating release for dedicated climbers at Bloc11. I provide detailed instructions, modifications (options) and assistance via personalย props (belts, blocks and cushions) as well as opted-for, hands-on assistance. Moderate strength training and active stretching are the two key components of my yoga conditioning sessions. with climbing and the awareness of breath at the heart of the practice.ย 

I prefer an open communication style, addressing personal needs and ensuring that the space remains friendly, transformative and enjoyable."
