Cape Ballet Centre

The Cape Ballet Centre is a Ballet School for children and adults situated in the heart of the Mother City, Cape Town.

The School is owned and run by Evelyne Aregger, who is also the principal instructor. Teaching with awareness and sensitivity, the Cape Ballet Centre shares the joy of creativity and movement, while providing students with a strong foundation in classical ballet. The Cape Ballet Centre (CBC) is one of only a few ballet schools in South Africa which offer classical Russian Vaganova based training for all ages and levels of dancers. Franscois and Essek started ballet classes with CBC as adults in 2024 and 2025 respectively. Last week they completed their first ballet exam, RAD Level 2, and both passed with High Distinction! 🌟

To step into an exam as an adult takes courage, dedication and true commitment. It requires consistent hard work, late nights of extra lessons and the willingness to push beyond comfort zones, something they both did with grace and determination.

We are so proud of you, not only for what you have achieved for yourselves but as an inspiration to all of us that it is never too late to start, to improve, and to thrive in this art form that belongs to all of us at every stage of our lives. Congratulations, you stars! 🌟✨🌟
